Adoration of the Magi

CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS to the Saint Monica Sodality

and especially to our local chapters in Michigan!

Petitions collected in August and given to Fr. John Simoneau, LC are now in Rome!  Fr. Simoneau arrived in Rome from Bratislava, Slovakia on Friday, December 21.  He brought our petitions to the Basilica of St. Augustine where provision for ten Masses will be offered during this Christmas season.  While in the St. Monica Chapel he prayed a Rosary for all our intentions before her altar which is built above her tomb.  In gratitude for Fr. Simoneau's kindness to us, let us offer time in Eucharistic Adoration for his needs and intentions.

"There are so many to pray for.  Christ's light has to reach so many hearts through us.  He wants His Incarnation to realize itself in our actions so that His grace may save.  Let us hope and love ever more, as our Pope Benedict has outlined in his new encyclical (Spe Salvi).  God bless you all.  Your brother in Christ, Fr. John Simoneau, LC"

Email received from Fr John

May God Bless you and your family in this New Year!   May His peace always be your most important possession!

Keep us in your prayers, your brother in Christ, Fr. John Simoneau, LC

Christmas Reflections

Prince of Peace

For those who pray for souls to return

 to the Catholic Faith,

 and for conversion of sinners

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you."  Matthew 7:7

Remember to continue to ask until you receive, to continue to seek until you find, and continue to knock until the door is opened.  Do not grow weary in asking, seeking or knocking.  Advent is a time of waiting for His coming, to strengthen you to persevere.

God, you reward those who bring their loved ones to you in faith.
